Sarah Kuehne
Sarah Kuehne is an events and marketing consultant with over 10 years of experience working in the charity and philanthropy sector. She currently works on a wide range of exciting and far-reaching projects - from being an associate for an advisory service to high net worth donors on giving to projects in India, to managing the marketing for an international volunteer organisation that works closely with both corporate and education partners, to more recently planning and implementing a social media campaign for a high profile personality. In addition, her plans going forward include the coordination of a global launch for an international bestseller book, as well as fulfilling a personal initiative of establishing an organisation which will act as a vehicle of awareness raising, fundraising and volunteering to promising film students who wish to document social change projects.
Between 2005 – 2009, Sarah successfully co-ordinated and managed fundraising events for The Funding Network, described as the UK's 1st public, open giving circle - a marketplace for charities and donors passionate about social change. She was pivotal in transforming the organisation which, to date, has raised over £2m for 350 projects. She was the visionary leader and hands-on co-ordinator for a youth spin-off of the organisation bringing both awareness to the next generation of givers and mobilising both enthusiasm and philanthropy within this sector. The initiative was also recognised at the prestigious national Third Sector Excellence Awards Ceremony for "Best Fundraising Event" in 2008.
With a Masters degree in Fine Art Media, she uses her creative talent and new media skills to implement innovative ways of communicating to donors, the inspirational work being done by charities and thereby, creating a more intimate relationship between giver and receiver.
Born in England and educated in Germany / Spain / New York / London, and having had frequent and extended stays both in China and India, Sarah comes with an international background and a commitment to social change.
